About the Music

Jason Bible

Jason Bible is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Savannah, Georgia, known for his work in the Americana, alt-country, and rock genres. He gained prominence as the frontman of The Train Wrecks, a band he led from 2005 to 2020, which became a staple in Savannah’s music scene. With The Train Wrecks, Bible blended gritty country influences with blues, rock, and folk, earning a reputation for raw, compelling storytelling and an energetic stage presence. The band’s hard-gigging lifestyle and Bible’s raspy vocals made them local legends, with highlights including opening for acts like B.B. King and Jerry Jeff Walker.

After The Train Wrecks disbanded, Bible transitioned to a solo career, releasing introspective albums that showcased his evolving artistry. His solo work includes the multimedia project *Anicca* (2019), a novel and companion album co-created with writer David Williams, exploring themes of addiction and recovery. This was followed by *Anatta* (2020), the second part of a planned trilogy, recorded with his side band The Rights (featuring Kyle Shiver, Anna Chandler, Maggie Evans, and Eric Moore). These projects fuse his signature sound—country grit, blues swagger, and rock edge—with layered harmonies and atmospheric depth.

In 2023, Bible began performing with his son Jack, an 11-year-old musical prodigy skilled on drums and guitar. Their duo act, blending Nirvana covers with original songs, reflects a generational passing of the torch, reinvigorating Bible’s punk rock roots. Plans for a joint EP signal their ongoing collaboration. Bible remains a key figure in Savannah’s tight-knit music community, celebrated for his work ethic, collaborative spirit, and dedication to crafting authentic, narrative-driven music.
